I was surprised he didnt hit at all earlier this year because in years past he has shown some competency with the bat. Glad to see him turning it around, because players like this are glue.

Fry had a great first inning back and then TLR tried to push a 2nd inning! Gah. Not saying hes going to be good. But wasn't he decent a couple years ago? Anything's possible with relievers.

TLR pitching management has been next level bad lately. Everyone left in later than they should be after having objectively good outings that were at good stopping points.

It would be sweet if we could get last years Foster back. Nice inning. It's been super disappointing that he, Heuer and Bummer have struggled so much after how they did last year. Relievers man.

I think we learned a lot about the tone of the season when the Sox got swept by the Astros and then looked like shit for a few more games and then bounced back to go 6 games up on Cleveland. I believe this team has strong mental fortitude, especially with how they bounced back from getting swept by Houston... NYY earlier in the year, just to keep winning. But I also dont know that theres a mental aspect in this game I guess.

17 games over .500 clearly isnt working. Were all hot about one bad game here... and then we remember the other bad games and think it's been happening all season. But were in first place by 6 games.
