  1. I would have chose something other than the 4 seamer. The foul ball prior to that showed he was catching up to it. Thankfully Billy was out there and not Leury. Just saved 3 runs.
  2. For a second, I was having flashbacks to a particular game the Sox went up huge, only to barely win the game. Meanwhile it ignited the Twins who rode that through a dominant season against the White Sox.
  3. I guess he also predicted AVs home run today in the pregame show.
  4. I know everyone likes to hate on Yaz for his BA, but this dude is finding ways to keep contributing offensively. Walks can be killers. And now he just destroyed a ball. Lol.
  5. It doesnt hurt when you get hits against the Twins. That will turn you into a fan favorite really fast.
  6. Billy put a fucking RIP on that 2-0 pitch ?
  7. I hope the fans are giving it to Donaldson on the walk of shame.
  8. Athletic Power Rankings: 1) Red Sox 2) Dodgers 3) White Sox 4) Giants 5) Cardinals 12) Indians 17) Cubs 20) Royals 23) Twins 30) Tigers
  9. Yas could have a > .400 OBP when he starts hitting a bit, and then no one will be complaining anymore.
  10. Vibes today and in this game are just not there.
  11. They're hitting the fastball and the change. Unless the deception is completely gone, I have to think that teams have picked up on some sort of pitch tipping.
  12. Gios gotta be tipping his pitches, right???
  13. I absolutely would. I'm not made of money, and going to a game can be expensive. If I am paying a real premium for entertainment, then I expect the best possible product to be on the field. It's like spending money for a big ticket concert and then just getting only the opening act. It's like going to a movie that had an excellent main actor just to find out someone else played the role. It's like going to Cedar Point and finding out their top 5 coasters are all out of commission. What the heck is the point? I get Sunday lineups, I get that guys need days off, but this is happening far too often for me to be comfortable planning on going to a game just to get treated to a lineup like this. I respect if you feel differently, though, and I'll still end up going to some games because a day at the park is still a day at the park... it's just annoying is all. Is Abreu really our only player who can play every game???
  14. Guess I don't need to worry about watching this one. Every time I want to buy tickets to a game, TLR gives me a reason to NOT want to buy tickets. Now I'm stuck in this weird limbo where if I do get tickets to a game, it might be a good lineup, or it might be the worst possible lineup ever.
  15. Weren't we not willing to take back Dontrelle Willis and that was a dealbreaker for the Marlins?
  16. Or if the Sox traded for Miggy instead of Detroit. Sigh... what could have been...
