  1. I honestly cant believe that some pitchers literally can only close games. Like you dont get that same adrenaline in a playoff game? Wtf?
  2. I agree with this. I know Kimbrel has struggled before but he has a HoF pedigree. Who knows why he sucks now, it's too bad for us though.
  3. It's one thing to have a close competitive game, but getting blown out is unacceptable.
  4. I hate the Astros. Fucking cheating fucks.
  5. Yikes, I was hoping for better from Lance today!
  6. I'm about to be 34. Oops. Just an excited Sox fan I guess.
  7. Parking passes seem to be available again. I just got one with the ParkWhiz thing.
  8. A-Rod is so bad.
  9. Also they should let Jason and Steve and the home network do ALDS games. I know that will never happen, but I always thought it was stupid someone like Hawk couldn't call any of the 2005 playoff games.
  10. Playoff games should never be day games. So fucking stupid. I agree with the guy who said we watch 100+ games a year just to get shafted in the playoffs. I WFH on Thursday though so I guess I will work my face off until game time and after. And try to take a half day on Friday or something.
  11. It's really damn rude to keep us all hanging and waiting for the Wild card game finished. Fuck Boston, fuck New York, finalize the fucking schedule so we can fucking plan already.
  12. Do they really want a maybe full maybe half empty Tropicana field on prime time Friday night?
  13. FWIW on https://www.mlb.com/postseason , things look orders very specifically already. Not alphabetical, maybe just random though. Who knows? Games are already ordered NL AL NL AL too on days where there are 4 games.
  14. I think every team is going to be asking for Sheets in trade talks this offseason. I kinda hope we keep him though. It is nice to have a trade chip like this unexpectedly pop up, though.
  15. I like Engels D and pop and would like to see him start a game in Houston. Hes the kind of guy who will hit a random HR when you dont expect it. Cesar is not.
  16. I agree with everyone that Sox will probably not get a night game Thurs or Fri. But damn, everyone's gonna want to see the Astros get beat so it could actually be a high viewership game. Truthfully I just want to be able to watch after work.
  17. I really hope we get thrown a bone and get a night game on Friday, even if the Yankees are in. Day game Thursday is fine, just make it equitable so Sox fans who have to work dont have to miss both games.
  18. Haha. Too bad literally no one except actual Astros fans will be cheering for the Astros in this series. Sox have a chance to be Americas team and they need to show up and ball out.
  19. Haha I cannot believe people in here complaining that they are trying to recreate the blackout game or that this is a bad idea. You wont be feeling that way when the camera pans over a rowdy sell out crowd in pure black and chills go down your spine. The blackout is not and should not be a one time thing, nor be perceived as a slight to everyone's precious memories of the 2008 blackout game. All it really is is a really cool thing to do for big games.
  20. I like my boys man but I just cant help feeling that if this was TB, LAD, or SFG, LAA would be losing by 9 runs instead. Those teams just take care of business. The Sox do not.
  21. Does this team not want home field advantage? What a lousy performance.
  22. Anyone know anything about the 2 sleeve patches the Sox wear on the 83s?
  23. I think Yasmani did a good job recognizing Oakland hitters were sitting on offspeed/change up, letting the fastball fly from Jimmy for a bit the inning before this last one, and now it's a bit more of an even fight. Good inning.
