  1. Blowan isn't even competitive. I hope the women start snuffing him for being so shit at baseball so he finds some new motivation. Yeah right, he's got enough money that it doesn't matter.
  2. Dude Steve Stone can shut up. He tweeted about 100% intensity and effort a few days ago and now saying its all good to just throw this game away because you never had a chance.
  3. fucking THIS. Its all good for Seby and Yoan to hit HRs off of position players but not Yermin? That whole fucking saga seemed like the catalyst to the downfall of this team.
  4. Probably cherry picking stats but whatever, this team is dog shit and deserves it. Judge, Rizzo and Stanton account for 94 home runs. Our team has 92 total.
  5. Its so weird to see a baseball player actually hit a baseball. Nice job Adolis, you reminded me what real hitting looks like.
  6. Pretty sad that our pitchers have to throw shut outs to win. Also that we apparently have 5 DHs rostered and STILL have a shit offense. Wtf?
  7. Indeed, I dont even see Juan Soto or Ohtani turning this dumpster fire around. It's like they try to lose at home. Theres nothing there.
  8. Change the game. How bad does that look now? Best one for me is your 2022 White Sox: Meh.
  9. Why is Vaughn balding so much. It's almost to the point where he might as well give up on hair and just start being a bald guy.
  10. I'm sorry but I think Michael Kopech is not a piece you can include in this trade. He already has immense trade value this year, but given his trajectory could very easily be one of the most valuable players in the MLB by next season. I'm glad this thread pumped the brakes on Dylan Cease (I'd only consider trading him straight up for Soto and even then it would be long consideration), but Kopech is not too far behind Cease in that regard. It may be what it takes to actually get a deal done, but IMO including Kopech in any deal with Vaughn, Montgomery and Colas (+?) is a massive overpay.
  11. And suck at home. And suck vs Cleveland. And suck after any good series. And suck.
  12. I'd bet on no Soto and not think twice. Mental masturbation is fun however. Coming on your brain is pretty next level.
  13. I dunno guys. If we can convince Washington to take Vaughn as the headline (ML Player) and a few of our top prospects, I think I'd be down. Resign Abreu for a few more years so we have 1B covered, Eloy to DH and Soto in LF. It would suck to lose Vaughn but you are getting one of the best LH bats in the game and balances our lineup. I think Dylan Cease has so much value now that it would be impossible to include him in this trade, same with Michael Kopech. I think the Nats will find it tough to find any team willing to part with their premium young ML established pitching in this trade as it is simply too valuable to have on your team. Like, I would sort of consider Cease for Soto straight up, but as an add-on? No thank you. Considering we only got 2 top prospects for Chris Sale I'd be willing to go Vaughn, their choice of top prospect from our minors, and 2 of our top 5-10 prospects. Stretching maybe into a 2nd top 5. And they can keep Patrick Corbin. The Dodgers or Padres will end up trading for him and the White Sox will never be mentioned as serious suitors, however.
  14. This core was their chance to do this, and it's not looking good so far.
  15. You're thinking too hard. Just deploy them when you feel like it.
  16. Yes definitely we need to take a hard look in the mirror and take some responsibility for this mess as well. We've continued to spend money and show up for one of the worst ownership groups in the land, emboldening them and empowering them further to view us as a herd of doofuses who will just buy $12 beers.
  17. Not even trying for Mookie is so dumb. He's such a good player that it should have been no choice to at least try. Granted, going toe to toe with the Dodgers when they want a player is pretty much always a losing proposition, but I digress.
  18. I agree with this, and for Soto I would trade anyone on the farm. For years we have passed up on opportunities for great players - Machado, Harper, Betts etc. It's time to stop fucking around and go and get one of the best LH hitters in the game. If we need to deal with TLR and all this other bullshit, at least go get us Soto. What would it take to get the deal done?
  19. The White Sox have crafted their identity for this season. Lost most important games. Win a game or two in an emotional and cool way. And then lose more games after that. Terrible.
  20. You're all a bunch of beauties who deserve better.
  21. Keep wishing dude. Our fanbase is basically stuck in baseball hell right now. At least Angels fans have a couple absolutely dominant players to go along with their horse shit owner and team.
