  1. This is a brutally inconsistent zone. You want a wide zone, fine…but call it that way the entire game. Fuck this ump.
  2. We’ll bring Jack back, but in exchange, you’re now banned. Seems fair. You in?
  3. Jesus, they aren’t asking him to play second base. It’s pure insanity the lengths people will go to attack the front office and not the guy on the field. I’ve been a giant defender of the Kimbrel trade, but the guy simply hasn’t performed, at really any point since the acquisition. Because Kimbrel can’t wrap his head around pitching in any other inning but the 9th, this is all on Rick Hahn, and NOT the guy that has been below replacement level since being traded from a team located 7 miles away? That’s pure insanity. Craig Kimbrel’s job is to retire hitters. Rick Hahn’s job is to make this team better. He went out and acquired the best reliever on the market (and I’ll argue Nick Madrigal is NOT a major asset.) I’m sorry, but I’m not blaming Hahn for Kimbrel being an absolute trash bag.
  4. It sounds ridiculous because it is. Kimbrel can go pound sand if the reason his ERA has jumped 5 runs(!!!) is because he’s been mostly pitching the 8th instead of the 9th. Are you kidding? He’s been coming into games in arguably bigger situations than closing a game…if he can’t get mentally prepared for that, that’s totally on him.
  5. The idea was right. The performance was an epic failure.
  6. Idiot is looking for attention or something. Did they win a bad division? Yes. Do they have issues defensively? Yes. But so do a lot of other teams. And to the points you listed above, calling them mediocre is a fucking joke.
  7. Houston based writer with a terrible take. What are we doing here?
  8. Don't post anything rational here, the children won't appreciate it.
  9. Jose Abreu is an absolute monster. As you said, if it's COVID, there is nothing he can do. But there is zero indication he has that, so we have no reason to believe that's the case. There is no way in hell Abreu is out of the lineup tomorrow if he is just "sick." I just can't wrap my head around that given his history.
  10. Based on how they used Kopech the final handful of games, it seems like they may be thinking he’s going to be used to cover multiple innings…another reason why Kimbrel becomes that much more of a vital piece…
  11. Haven’t read the entire thread, but is it possible we see Rodon Game 4 with a very short rope, and the Kopech is asked to cover 2-3 innings?
  12. Not joking when I say I don’t remember who said it, but someone here in April said Kyle Schwarber was one of the worst players in baseball lol
  13. You ever hear the story about when ESPN 1000 had Eddie Robinson on, but the hosts were under the impression it was Eddy Curry so they asked all the questions as if it was Curry.....and ERob just went with the interview answering questions as Curry ?
  14. Honestly, it’s so far from the show, I don’t think it will bring back too much nostalgia haha. Movie is just all over the place. Not even sure there was really a plot.
  15. My Many Saints of Newark Review: IT STINKS!
  16. You nailed it. Glad to see you're still here after all this took place. Feel free to stay as long as you'd like.
  17. Quick, report the post so we can all laugh at you behind the scenes.
  18. It's happening.... https://theathletic.com/news/bears-sign-purchase-agreement-for-arlington-park-property-exclusive/QTJyEXELsaMt
  19. It’s so awesome to hear the people you listen to. Clay Travis, Jason Whitlock, Rush….and you, like many others, aren’t in on the grift. They are playing characters. Think of Clay Travis like….Doink The Clown. He says things and takes positions because he (smartly) saw a void in the marketplace for a hard conservative sports figure to push back against “woke” ESPN. And this is when Greg chimes in with “But I listen to Howard Stern too! And Bill Maher! They are liberal! See! See!!!!!11
  20. Didn’t watch Dexter and HIMYM, but Lost in my opinion was so much different than Sopranos. The creators said they ran out of ideas by Season 3 and really didn’t know how to get to the end point. That show got so bad the last few seasons. Sopranos wasn’t as good the last season or so, but it was still great TV. I know the final scene caused a lot of controversy, but I guess it just didn’t ruin things for me.
  21. At this point I think it has to be Gio-Lynn.....then Rodon and Cease can fight it out. The Rodon right now isn't May Rodon.
  22. I'm very jealous of you. Anytime I hear someone is watching Sopranos for the first time makes me smile knowing you get to experience all those episodes for the first time. The ending was jarring, but the longer time has gone on, the more I'm OK with it. I'm 100% convinced what happened (I won't spoil it for Sqwert even though it's been like 20 years lol) and that choice by David Chase doesn't change much for me in terms of the show as a whole.
  23. Yep, this is just part of the negotiation playbook. Putting out public statements against each other is always part of it.
