I will say I jumped off the Gonzalez train relatively quickly because he didn't show enough at any stop in the minors, but I'll need to see an extended run of success in AAA before I come off that hill. Like James said, definitely expect to see him in the majors at some point due to the draft spot/pedigree, but I suppose getting a UTIL guy is better than nothing.

He's certainly making a case for himself with this insane heater he's on. I'm not sure how much longer they can keep him in Winston, but I'll definitely be excited to see how he does in Birmingham whenever he gets the call, which will be more age appropriate.

I imagine they would, but more power to them gaming the system like that. Maybe they space it out a fews weeks or a month for an extension announcement to make the negotiation process seem more legit.
