Twas a very fun season that vastly exceeded my expectations in numerous ways. Had you told me in February that they'd be in contention for the division until they very last series of the season, make the playoffs, win a round, and be on the brink of the ALCS I would've taken it 100 times out of 100....with that being said, going out how they did (to Cleveland of all teams) was certainly a gut punch and their weaknesses got very exposed in those losses. But for a team that wasn't supposed to be here at all, I'll take it.

Is that just from a couple popular podcast groups & their followings?

Because they don't seem to have any clue about what they're doing.

I, for one, welcome our future PE overlord in his ambitious endeavor to turn our feeble, laughingstock of a franchise mired with an "it's fine" stadium in a so-so location into a potential juggernaut with a state of the art facility, campus development, premium location, and the ability to print money at ease. Tip of the cap to you sir!

Chase went to tag the guy going to second, had it in his glove and made contact but the ball popped out on the contact with the player

"Dogshit" was an appropriate assessment of your route, Sam.

It's still separate. There would still be a minor league season, everyone on a 40-man is part of the ML union so they couldn't participate. Non 40-man players are in the MiLB Union. JJ Cooper lays everything out here.

He'd be on the 40-man so a lockout would prevent him from pitching in the minors.
