  1. Not even close. The Cubs still have to get through Atlanta, FLA/SF, and the AL Champions. So no need for Satan to buy a parka.... Not even a pullover
  2. Not even close. The Cubs still have to get through Atlanta, FLA/SF, and the AL Champions.
  3. You just answered your own question. This team is a gaggle of ShamME's when it comes to a pressure/clutch situation.
  4. Botch would be my favorite if I was always betting against the Sox
  5. Billy Botch In my life as a Sox fan, I'd have to go with Bobby Thigpen, Keith Foulke, and Roberto Hernandez..... in that order.
  6. Whatever. If Santo had clue one he'd realize he's in more danger of being the victim of a crime in Wrigleyville than Bridgeport. But continue to be clueless about life as you are about baseball Ronnie. I don't even think a Sox fan would go Ty Cobb on Santo's crippled ass at The Cell. ShamME..... that's a different ball of wax.
  7. They hope. I for one will tell you that I will never, EVER cheer for those hacks. EVER!
  8. I know Dan the GUG is and he's none too happy about it either.
  9. The players should pool it together and split the entire pot with the season ticket holders.
  10. What the f*** were they thinking ?
  11. If Colon pitched a no-hitter today, it would be buried 10 pages back of any Chicago-based sports section .
  12. When it counts, I'll get excited. Well, it's not gonna count for quite a while now, so why not try to enjoy what baseball we have left while its still here .... Ok, actually.... somebody slap me for that comment.... :fthecubs Who had that sig of the Arab smacking the other dude?
  13. I just turned on the radio and came here. The Chicago Media's pro-Cub Playoff Campaign has begun. Excuse me while I go :puke
  14. Arn't the Cubs "Chicago's Sweathearts?" Maybe we should have expected this reaction from the media. The Cubs haven't won a division since '89 until today. And, until today, the second oldest ballpark in the ML's never saw a division clinch either Pathetic.
  15. Neither did Cincinnati or NY's AAA affiliates..... err..... Major League teams. :puke
  16. Funny. I don't remember the Sox being on every channel when they clinched in 2000. :fyou Chicago Media
  17. Houston choked. Just like the White Sox . Will be interesting to see how the Cubs fare against better than AAA teams in the playoffs.
  18. We have Nationally Ranked NIU . Sorry Heather. I've been to more than my share of I-AA games and their either blowouts or snoozefests. I-AA is where the football players that couldn't cut it in I-A go.
  19. That's very true. No one should shut down any prospective market place when you are looking for the highest bidder.$$$ Was that the first english quote from Colon all season?$$$$$ Too true. I can't recall any quotes from Bartolo this season until now.
  20. I just said that Homer was smarter than FAUX News on that issue. And at the end of the episode he gets rid of the gun, remember? I'm just trying to stir things up
  21. Bartolo..... he gawn. I'd like to see Bartolo back JUST TO SEE these threads every 5 days
  22. This speaks volumes. Homer S > FOX News This also speaks volumns. The fact is that the cartoon character is more truthful than Bill O'Reilly, Sean "Shemp" Hannity, Neil "Slanted and Biased" [his own admission] Cavuto and the rest of the stooges that work at FAUX News. Homer also likes his gun too. Are you anti-gun control now because Homer likes to change the channel on his TV and open his "Duff" with his firearm?
  23. I still think that dirt bike accident messed Rowand up early in the year. I like the guy and think he'll be a solid major league centerfielder. However, Reed just might push him in spring training. Injury or no injury..... he flat out sucked and because of it, we were forced to play Armando Rios early in the season.
