Perfect opportunity for Leury to add to his LOB totals for the game.

making cy young work for it

Get a home run here please the pitchers up next

we just cant get to Cy Minor

i thought vaughn hit that out

Cease is throwing a brilliant ballgame, wild at times but hes locked in

he threw it in the zone what more do you want

what a fucking JOKE

that was a nice turn

I have the same feeling about this game as i do in those angels games

you just knew we werent going to score Robert from second that inning

just pathetic

In a way its a good thing, if Garcia got a hit there he would have been our leadoff guy going forward.

This is where Leury hitting leadoff kills us. 3 on base for his sub 100 OPS

Theres no excuse batting leury leadoff, disgusting also to an admin, the ads block the post function on the mobile site. Just an FYI. Had to go to my computer to voice my displeasure in this garcia decision.

Since you guys love talking about size, Pedroias first 30 games were abysmal in both defense and offense, look it up. Jose Altuve's OPS was 700 in his first 3 seasons. Madrigal deserves more time to develop just like any other player that comes up. Eloy, Moncada, Tim, Robert have all had stretches in their first couple of years that had us pulling out our hair, yet never even seen the hate close enough to this. Moncada had 300 strikeouts in his first 900 atbats and hit a whopping 715 OPS. Anderson had a 730 OPS in his first 100 games. Paul Konerko had a 600 OPS in his first 80 games. Are they stronger than Madrigal? Yeah I am not going to argue that at all, but Madrigal's OPS in his only 40 games played is 745. Madrigal is also surrounded by strength and conditioning coaches, theres no reason to think hes at his strength ceiling. I would be happy with an .800 OPS from him, especially if he shores up the defense. On that note, going back to Pedroia, I love this scouting report during his draft year: Thats pretty much a Madrigal scouting report. His defense has been really pissing me off just as much as anyone, but its not worth writing him off because of it. I am going to give him a couple of years before I grab the pitch fork and make short jokes all day.

If hes david eckstein going forward thats a win. Id take 15 war over the next 6 years easy.

I didnt see it live but ive watched the highlight about 20 times.

We need to find room for Mendick... can he learn a corner OF spot?

What a lucky garbage hit

The wheels are falling off

Also im getting ads in Russian on here, should i be concerned ?

That is a hot take, without looking at his numbers id say hes been pretty damn good Edit:Then hits in a dp lol

Can Mendick play the outfield?

Whoa where did vaughn think that was?
