I've said it before, but have always feared when the time came to make trades, Hahn would trade the wrong guys. I don't trust him.

It is very frustrating to me that from what I know they did not try at all to pursue Gausman. He seemed to be a terrific fit. And the contract he got is one that should be very doable for this team. Just dumb.

I'd also rather see playoff baseball...for the first time 3 years in a row. I also recognize that this is not the year to go all in, mortgaging whatever future there is in the minors to build up this squad that doesn't have what it takes to win it all. Hell in retrospect, 2020 was probably the best opportunity to go for it the way they were playing (until the last week of course). If they would have gotten another starting pitcher and gotten past the Athletics, who knows.

Our odds had gone from close to 40% at the beginning of the 4 game Twins series to the mid 50s after taking 3 out of 4. The Twins just aren't gonna run away with this.

I finished the game on the radio on the ride home. Actually to be honest I pulled in the driveway after he walked the first 2 guys and was 2-0 on the third guy. I turned it off and checked Soxtalk later. Anyways on the radio broadcast they said Graveman led the team with 43 appearances. Ruiz and Foster both had 42 appearances.......yuck.

Twin's pitching sucks so I'd say Cleveland. But honestly neither team is very good so the Sox at .500 would stay in the race pretty late in the season imo.
