  1. Any concern about Bassitt after taking that wicked line drive off his face? Was he ok when he came back from that? That's the type of thing that could affect a pitcher going forward, at least mentally which could lead to physically.
  2. Dave Dombrowski does love his trades....what can we get back??
  3. Why does it feel like I've been hearing about Micker Adolfo for like 20 years? The first time I actually saw him on tv, I was shocked at how damn big that man is. It sure would be fun if the Sox kept him and he made a big developmental leap this year.
  4. Agree as well....I wanted them to sign McHugh in 2020 and still like the idea.
  5. Are you able to be stretched out to be a starter, or are you more of a middle relief guy?? Looking for options just in case.
  6. Wow....should I stop daydreaming about Max in that Sox uniform then?
  7. Just a reminder to never miss an afternoon at Soxtalk...I would have missed all the Verlander speculation if I checked in tomorrow or even tonight. Miss a little....miss alot.
  8. Scientists still have not discovered why we sleep entirely. Researchers have been able to measure brain waves and find out a little bit about what is going on in our brains, but they still don’t know why sleep is necessary for humans
  9. The word fact derives from the Latin factum, and was first used in English with the same meaning: "a thing done or performed" – a meaning now obsolete. The common usage of "something that has really occurred or is the case" dates from the mid-16th century.
  10. Dolphins are in fact whales, or part of the whale family. Scientifically, all whales, dolphins and porpoises are classified as Cetacea. And within Cetacea are two suborders: baleen whales and toothed whales. Baleen whales include the really big ones, such as blue whales and humpbacks. Toothed whales include dolphins and orcas, or killer whales, as they’re often known. In fact, orcas are the largest dolphins, growing to be about 32 feet (10 meters) long. Many dolphins only average eight to nine feet (2-3 meters) in length. So yes, orcas are dolphins, and dolphins are whales!
  11. I, for one, think he would have accepted the QO.....and I too would be over the moon if the Sox signed Scherzer.
  12. My guess is that the White Sox thought he would take the QO and that is why they did not offer it.
  13. Is this in regards to a Dallas Keuchel extension??
  14. My wife didn't like the whole "Beth playing homemaker thing they have going." For me, I loved Rip's line (which is exactly what I was thinking)....."Why didn't you use the Tuna helper?"
