I have always been concerned that when it came down to it, Hahn would trade away the wrong guys when he needed to add pieces. I know all the talk around here is that he's a bad guy and teammates don't like him but I think trading Madrigal will be a mistake. Heuer might be good too....another patented RH throw in like Tatis was.

You see, LaRussa knew by experience that it was the 8th inning that was the trouble inning this year so it did not matter what he did in the 7th. It actually was a very sound strategy if you think about it.
