I laughed at the Cubs when they overpaid Kimbrel with that contract they gave him. Then the Sox end up with the contract. Then the guy turns out to be a head case who cannot pitch in the 8th inning effectively. Do your f...ing job guy, no matter what inning it is. Sorry but that guy just really pisses me off.

I'm excited to see who develops....it should be an interesting next couple of years seeing who steps up on the farm and I agree there's a good amount of intriguing talent at the lower levels.

Hopefully going younger in the draft will help them retool when the time comes.....or they go get some more Cubans ready for the big show.

I initially thought that too, but after Klain's statement I figured they are calculating that a further deferral will garner young votes as well. I think that is an inaccurate calculation. Although I doubt anything will stop the Democrats from losing the house at this point....and maybe the Senate but that's less certain imo.

The cynical side of me says that they will only extend the deferment until after the mid term elections. Chief of Staff Ron Klain has already hinted at that. It just seems that they would have already done some forgiveness by executive order if they were going to do it.

Just one man's opinion, but ballpark food has never been the same since Best Kosher hot dogs went out of business....that was a sad day indeed.
