With seemingly no movement on the 2B front, I would once again like to thank the Atlanta Brave Organization for not releasing Yolmer Sanchez.

I had been so good lucky missing results beforehand so far...Then just clicked through from this site to Twitter to follow an ? thread and accidentally saw Olympic results trending on the side....Damn Twitter.

I remember being in a crowded sports bar with all the TVs following a White Bronco driving down the highway...surreal stuff there. Not to mention that whackass trial. Whose couch is Kato Kaelin sleeping on these days?

It is great that most of the swimming is live. I have been pretty good at not hearing other results so far. My wife came home last night asking if I had heard anything (she had heard all about Biles earlier in the day). My wife asked if I wanted to know what she knew and I was torn.

The dedication and emotion is fun to watch. I love both the Summer and Winter Olympics. I actually enjoy the swimming races more than track and field but they are both outstanding races.

That was a tremendously exciting race.

The pure emotion of Caleb Dressel after he won the 100M Freestyle Gold was wonderful....and get to see Ledecky swim later too...outstanding stuff.

Frank, Ozzie and Chuck all agreed with that sentiment fwiw.

Frank was very against getting Story in the pregame due to it making the team too right handed and the fact that Story is not a 2B. It would be exciting to get him but I'd be more excited with a veteran set up guy for the pen.

I really don't disagree but as you said it is possible if they get on a roll. This Sox team when on a hot streak are very strong. I do like our starting rotation and back of the pen for the playoffs. It is tremendous to remember that this really is year 1 of our window of contention.

Because our Sox are not even as good as the Yankees (who are not even going to make the playoffs). Haven't you been paying attention all year Ray??

If the one leaving the organization is Lambert I will not be heartbroken, but I wish him luck.
