  1. Kolten Wong at 2B would be nice tbh. He was a 5 WAR player in '19.
  2. Exactly. So dumb that people still believe this guy
  3. This is what Not Cishek posted. I don’t believe him at all.
  4. Have you not watched Lynn at all these past couple of years? If anything, he’s just now hitting his stride outside of a few bad outings at the tail end of 2020
  5. Hahah didn’t catch that lol
  6. Very encouraging article by Bruce. Looks like the Sox will spend and attempt to do so at the top of the market. Before anyone says “it’s Bruce lol” I would ask you to look at his track record (with the White Sox specifically) and you will quickly realize that he has an in with the FO.
  7. Maybe it’s blind optimism but I have felt like Springer is our guy for a while.
  8. You have to be a fake person
  9. Stoney is more reliable than any “insider” on this board or Twitter. I’d take what he says as legitimate. Tony needs to get on the phone.
  10. I don’t know, he deleted them now but he was going at it with Mets fans on Twitter earlier. Especially ones who were telling him to take the qualifying offer. Suggested that it was a dumb idea.
  11. I know. So far when making an example about a player he used Kenny Williams and Harold Reynolds lol
  12. Has La Russa mentioned any White Sox players by name yet? I know he mentioned Anderson once (fed to him) but no one else.
  13. I’m going to say TLR won’t be a factor. If a guy is offered a big league job in a pandemic I doubt he turns it down
  14. I am very pessimistic about Bauer pitching up to whatever contract he signs. I would not be mad but it could bite us.
  15. This would be great and I would not be complaining but I feel like we would still be short in the pitching department. I’d rather get Quintana and Morton than Paxton.
  16. Zack Collins for Woodruff and Yelich. Who says no?
  17. The idea that a package that does not include Vaughn and is headlined by Dylan Cease gets you Yelich is laughable.
  18. I remember Hahn saying on the White Sox talk podcast that he texted agents the second free agency started last year to let them know that the White Sox were interested. I wonder who got a text today ??
  19. Only gives me pause because in a recent mailbag by Merkin he also mentions Odorizzi
  20. I really don’t want him. That would be a bad off season.
  21. I wonder if this report is sourced or just a reaction to the La Russa signing. Everyone thinks Jerry will pony up for his boy but what if he is senile enough to believe that La Russa is the final missing piece and no big players need to be added ?
  22. My pitching choice is Stroman. I think a lot of people don’t realize just how good he has been. Opting out last year right after hitting the mark of being eligible for free agency (while injured) and now getting hit with the QO may have suppressed his value. He has had a very comparable career to Bauer. Bauer is going to get PAID and I think if the Sox pony up they will either be upset they did because he falls off or it will stop them from spending elsewhere. Merkin said the type of pitcher the Sox will pursue are pitchers “like Odorizzi” but that was before La Russa.
  23. I really hope so. Perfect time to do it. Unfortunately for Jerry the “window” doesn’t pause for the pandemic.
  24. Sox love and fear Carlos Santana. Looks like the perfect Sox candidate. Sox killer on the decline.
