October 31, 20205 yr I think Lester is a class guy, and has been a great pitcher. But at this point, there is no reason to sign him. I could see him giving up a ton of homers at GRF. The team has already signed a multitude of players way past their prime. Let him get lit up somewhere else.

As much as I enjoy a good cub fan gear grinding, I don't think it would be worth it in this case. What would really grind if I was a cub fan would be seeing Quintana return to form alongside the guys traded for him on the south side. Much better chance of that. He still has his stuff and his recent peripherals haven't been that far off.
