Have you been to Target Field this year? I plan on going in May when they play the Sox. If you have, what has it been like?
-
The other day I was curious as to how much longer he is signed with them. So I looked it up. I thought maybe he'd be done after this season or next. He's with them through 2024 lol! He'll be 42 when the contract is up.

Your arguments are making zero sense
-
That's a straw man argument. Lmao people will not be asking for robot batters and fielders to replace humans (although...that would be pretty cool to see as a project of sorts). Baseball is so behind the times when compared to other sports in terms of technological advancements on the field (although, they are starting to get better). People don't want replay for instant gratification, that has nothing to do with it (some of these replays do take longer than they should...but that's one of the "kinks" that should be worked out over time). It's about getting the call RIGHT. Why is this even an argument? Why do people defend making wrong calls?

And it's ludicrous. Robo umps will not ruin the game as some have suggested. We don't watch the game for umpires, and the only time we talk about umps are when they fuck up. As Stone and Hawk always said, you know you have a good umpire when you don't have to talk about them. And another poster said, yeah but the umpires suck for every team. Well shouldn't something be done about it then?? I'm glad they are testing it in the minors. Can't get here soon enough. I'm sure there will be kinks to work out, much like replay (which people said would also ruin the game), but it will be worth it.

The Chicago White Sox have the best run differential in the American League at +21 (Boston right behind them at +20). They are second in all of MLB behind the Dodgers at +32. Sox keep this up, they will be just fine.

I think the players work way too hard to have the outcome of a play, and sometimes even the game, be left in the hands of someone/something they have absolutely zero control over. It It doesn't just happen once a week, this is happening multiple times a game. I understand it when people say "that's the nature of the game; that's life; etc." But life also changes. We adjust things to make life better. We have the capabilities with technology to get the balls and strikes call right 100% of the time, and there is no reason it shouldn't be. If they still want a person behind the plate for more dramatic effect with the calls behind the plate, maybe equip the hp umpire with something that looks like VR goggles, which shows him the strikezone virtually (much like we have on our tv screens, but probably a lot more advanced), and they can make the call based on the result on the goggles. Something like that...

The entire season has been.

Len Kasper is...boring imo. Doesn't really keep the conversation going with Stone.

Why did he say he isn't on the right team?

Time for an Ozzie/Cora off-day defensive camp

If this continues i think you might need to swallow the pride and seriously think about bringing in Collins as a defensive replacement in late innings. -
If it helps him win who cares
-
Tomorrow I want to see a lineup of Anderson, Eaton, Yerminator, Yoan, Abreu Robert, Vaughn, Grandal or Collins, Madrigal
-
You think Grandals knee caused that passed ball? I'm thinking maybe we start bringing in Collins for late inning defensive replacement at catcher. Grandal seems to shit the bed defensively during the late innings when it's tight.
-
Umpire blowing ball 4 call cost us a baserunner and gave Tex an out, should be 1st and 3rd one out. It changes games.
-
I wanna see a Grandal bat drop lets gooooo
-
We say this every game. They all suck. Which goes to show me if even the most trained professionals repeatedly make the same mistakes, either the training needs rehauling or it's just humanly impossible to track pitches correctly all the time. Enter electronic strikezones.
-
Umpires suck at their jobs. Why do we even have strikezones.
-
Luis Robert owes Cease a homerun or something.
-
Holy crap zero runs

Get in a rhythm Dylan.

Crowds into it
