  1. Wow. This is a total nothing burger.
  2. Who will they have to trade to offset this salary?
  3. Complaining about 2005 snubs is getting old and kinda cringe we just need to win again. Its been forever.
  4. This is ridiculous
  5. It doesnt look like we got anything of value so why not wait until the season starts and see if he plays well, then trade him for better players?????
  6. Lmao youre calling the south loop a despressed dead zone vs their current location, sandwiched between a super highway, rail yard, public housing and seas of parking lots. I cant think of anything more depressing than their current location. Maybe if they moved to O block..
  7. Who cares what he said. It was the loudest ever
  8. The Bears stadium plans they released called for a capacity barely larger than present. I cant find it now, but Ill eat my hat if they have over 70k seats. Owners dont want more regular seats, only luxury.
  9. Al Michaels said it was the loudest he's ever heard a football stadium.
  10. Bears just need to stay at Soldier Field. That home field advantage we saw on Sat night will never be replicated in a sterile dome like they want to build.
  11. Why would they have to do away with the song? Is the state going to sue them? Its going to be Illinoisians in an Indiana stadium cheering for Illinois' most popular football team. People will continue to sing the song aside from a couple butthurt reddit bros. The Dutch national anthem sings about honoring the King of Spain, who hasnt controlled the country for centuries. I think Chicagoans will be fine.
  12. Dome football is awful. So is dome baseball. I think the Bears should stay where they are. The new stadium isnt for the fans, its just so greedy owners can have more luxury boxes. Same for Sox.0
  13. I support the Bears moving to NWI. Hammond makes a lot of sense. Arlington Heights is not that convenient for me or most Sox fans. North siders will just have to deal with it.
  14. Regardless of where they go, they will probably need a short term extension at the current location at the very least.
  15. Nobody knows what other plans the ownership has in mind, in Chicago or elsewhere, except themselves. Why would they NOT threaten to leave as part of a negotiation. The ISFA doesn't know what other options they have.
  16. The ISFA is responsible for Rate Field so it would be for use of that site.
  17. Negotiating an extension at Rate
  18. I have a friend of a friend on the ISFA, and he said in negotiations Ishiba is threatening a move to Nashville, not Reinsdorf.
  19. Im hearing from lots of bloomers that we're coming for a wild card spot next season.
  20. People were prematurely declaring the rebuild a success like two weeks ago. so much for that...
  21. Why is steve stone gone for the rest of the season?
  22. I prefer Beckham to Schriffen. He's so bad.
