CarGo anyone?
Boom, I've been calling this since we've signed Machado that they will get CarGo. "We've coveted Carlos for a long period of time, and are excited to add him to the 40 man roster. He will help mentor our young players and help build this roster into winning multiple championships."

Padres are going to do it again.... this is fun, yet so painful, to watch unfold lol

Harper to Phillies 13yr/330 mil
Yeah, the 2 vesting options for his age 36 & 37 seasons were a total screw job by the Sox. No way they'd pay that to him @ $35m per. Honestly, I think they added it in as a facade to see if Lazano was stupid enough to take it for Manny. They got burned, kind of past the point of comical tbh. It was an unintelligent move.

I REALIZE THAT. He can say that.

Danced around the Harper question imo
-
Hahn on 670 Tonight
He just won’t admit that he had the chance to match because Machado actually wanted to play here. Lozano gave him his shot. He blew it.

Lol @ Rick saying overpaying for a FA is unfair
-
Hahn on 670 Tonight
Rick, stop justifying your failure and just man up and say you screwed up. Stop deflecting.
-
Hahn on 670 Tonight
Just say that you had the chance to match rick and you didn’t.

Harper to Phillies 13yr/330 mil
This guy just doesn't know how to quit. You lost the trust of the little fanbase you had left, Rick. At this point, it would be more beneficial to say that JR nixed going to $300M because he likes to keep his funding by side, you may earn some of the respect of the fanbase back. Wrong of you to do so from a management standpoint? Yes. But is ist true that your boss does not want to pony up and play chicken with premium free agents and not adapt? Yes.

Say no more - CarGo @ 1y/7M "After losing out on Machado, uhhh, we have long coveted Carlos in prior offseasons to add to our 25-man roster. I believe he will, uhhh, fit right in on the direction of this ballclub, uhhhh, progressing into a more stabilized and complete team. That being said, uhhh, I believe we are better than where we were at the end of last season, and will, uhhh, be better than we were at the end of the season then at the start of this season, uhhhh, progressing to win multiple championships with this roster."

Harper to Phillies 13yr/330 mil
I can see it now, offer the same contract they did to Manny to Bryce... Then the Padres swoop in and Preller is crowned.

Harper to Phillies 13yr/330 mil
Come on, this is the White Sox... They will offer him $260M for 9y, with $100M in incentives that can be worth $360M!

Harper to Phillies 13yr/330 mil
Man, I never thought it would come to this, but the White Sox remind me of my Miami Dolphins with Steven Ross & when they had Mike Tannenbaum.... It's the Benny Hill theme song on repeat.

The disconnect between KW & Hahn is comical.... this organization is a joke. Lol

Machado signs with Padres 10/300
Padres about to get Harper too lol
-
Who is available in 2020? Looking ahead to the future
Tony Sipp & Carlos Gonzalez seemed to be classic White Sox IMO. Can picture it now: Hahn: "We were finally able to execute on a guy in Carlos Gonzalez after many feeble attempts."
