  1. No comment. Follow my lead and purchase the B58 twin scroll I6
  2. Yeah, because Jason Friggen Vargas is going to save the Phillies & end their pursuit of Colome. And I'm the CEO of BMW. GMAFB
  3. Would be Hahn to acquire someone like Manuel Margot out of left field for some reason.... I get that feeling.
  4. He's essentially Leury Garcia, I'm ok with that. He'd be an ok replacement for him. Maybe he's a late bloomer like Leury? (2018 aside)
  5. Realism or not, Luis may force the Sox hands to come up this year.... regardless of extra year of control or not.. He's legit putting up better numbers than Eloy did (well, on pace for it). Could be a ploy in August when the Sox are deemed "officially" out of it (already are) to sell some tickets. Never know.
  6. Yep, this is why you ALWAYS deal them, especially in our situation. More substance to be had than keeping a LHRP having a career year. I guess in Fry's case, a career year through 90 games.
  7. Again, I'm a fan of trading relievers that are pitching over their heads and having elite years. There's so much more value to be had than a closer on a sub-500/500 team, especially in our situation. That's why you deal both Bummer and Colome. I think you deal Bummer prior to Colome because I don't think he keeps it up for much longer, but that's just my opinion. Both of them can net you a pretty solid package and can provide more value & substance than a LHMRP & a reliable Closer on a transitioning team. Relievers always seem to develop out of the blue.... Look at 05... Some how Neal Cotts was elite (albeit had 1 more elite year with Texas & 1 ok year with MKE, otherwise terrible) & Cliff Politte (elite that year as well)... Tommy Kahnle is the only one we may have gotten burned (may not have since he goes up, down, up with his consistency years?) on, but the success far outweighs the benefit of keeping them on a non-playoff team this year.... We started finally cashing in on relievers pitching above their heads last year with Cedeno & Soria. Keep it up.
  8. Trade him while he's hot, grab a lotto ticket, move on.
  9. He should probably stick to baseball, which he may know a bit better.
  10. Honestly, I'm dealing Bummer before Colome (although I'm open to dealing both, fore sure)... Have to capitalize on him, I'm not so sure he can keep up his current performance.... Plus I'm a fan of always dealing relievers in career years. Yeah you may get burned once and a while, but the odds are in favor of dealing relievers rather than keeping them, especially in a situation like ours.
  11. Holy hell God in Heaven.... He's going to be here soon, love it.
  12. If it's a sprain on top of the foot, that sucks... I've done RICE & acetaminophen for about 3 months and it kept coming back.... Until about last week. Still feel a little, but I was able to play softball with a brace.
  13. Going to say this again, any reliever that is having an elite-level year, especially if the team hovers at/below 500, you deal him. The potential capital you receive in return greatly exceeds the value of said reliever, especially a LH MRP like Bummer. Colome & Bummer could net us something really nice at/near the deadline..... Gets me excited.
  14. I think at this point you have to deal Colome and keep bolstering up for the future. Albeit this team is VERY exciting to watch, don't lose sight of the big picture. If you can snag a Top 75 guy for Colome, you do it.
  15. The way he handles an AB reminds me of the older Luis Castillo... Guy could foul off pitches like no other, swipe bags, and walk at a decent clip.... If Madrigal ends up being him, I wouldn't even be mad... one of those tough outs that pitchers loathe to face.
  16. I'm down. Always sell high on relievers, especially with an extra year of control. Garner some more firepower for the arsenal.
  17. I was referring moreso toward the fact that the Sox don't really take HS preps in the first round.
  18. If Witt somehow falls to us, I think we have to take him. We need to take some changes on preps and think outside of the box.... But yet I don't think hahn will.
  19. Eloy is doing fine.... Not worried at all about his hits being singles.
