  1. So apparently according to Collinsworth Cutler should throw the ball away on every single play.
  2. And Giants back to 9 sacks. Just take a knee and go into half time.
  3. Only 8 sacks for the Giants right now, looks like Cutler did flip that ball out of bounds before stepping out.
  4. QUOTE (G&T @ Oct 3, 2010 -> 08:38 PM) They could try running? OLine hasn't run block worth a damn tonight either.
  5. QUOTE (lostfan @ Oct 3, 2010 -> 08:35 PM) Collinsworth keeps saying that, but Cutler can't tuck it in and get hit and throw the ball away on every snap, eventually he has to try to make something happen. Especially on 3rd and long
  6. Record for sacks is 12 for a team and 7 for an individual in a single game. JULIUS PEPPERS!!!!! What a beast.
  7. QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 3, 2010 -> 08:30 PM) Goodness, Ozzie needs to get someone up in the bullpen! We're getting no one open down the field. No one getting open at all and now Cutler is starting to panic even when he has a little time because the OLine has been so bad and really you can't blame him.
  8. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Oct 3, 2010 -> 08:23 PM) He is flushed forward and is trying to make a play. If he threw the ball away every single time he got pressured and flushed then we would have nothing at all. This line sucks and Martz needs to go to max protect. I Or go 5 wide and throw quick passes like they did against the Cowboys.
  9. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Oct 3, 2010 -> 08:22 PM) Jay, the O line sucks, you need to get rid of the ball more quickly...do we have any 3 step drop plays?WTF He does but it was 3rd and 19 on that last play and it takes time for routes to develop.
  10. QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 3, 2010 -> 08:19 PM) #86 might be the worst FA signing in Chicago sports history. JAIME.NAVARRO
  11. QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 3, 2010 -> 08:02 PM) Ugh, Cutler in primetime is just a recipe for disaster. He just played fine in primetime 6 days ago. But yes he has been awful so far tonight as has been the entire offense really.
  12. QUOTE (T R U @ Oct 2, 2010 -> 10:26 PM) wait, what the USC just called back to back timeouts.. I thought you couldn't do that? Also why are college coaches f***ing morons when it comes to clock management? How the hell do you not use your timeouts if you are Kiffin to get the ball back with some time?
  13. QUOTE (T R U @ Oct 2, 2010 -> 09:59 PM) Man, Oregon is just filthy on offense Its like watching someone play the AI in NCAA 11 on freshman.
  14. I doubt it would matter because their offense has looked like crap this year, but how does PSU not go for it on 4th and 6 when you are down 14 with under 5 minutes to go? You play to win the game.
  15. QUOTE (zenryan @ Oct 2, 2010 -> 05:54 PM) Miles cost LSU that game at Arkansas last year at the last second and should have lost today. The Jefferson era looks to be down in Baton Rouge. Lee didn't look good either though but at least he can sort of get the ball to those awesome receivers.
  16. Les Miles is also the luckiest coach in America and there isn't a close 2nd.
  17. Les Miles is the worst coach in America and there isn't a close 2nd.
  18. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 2, 2010 -> 03:00 PM) At least we got 7 on them. When I was a sophomore they hung a 59-0 shutout on us. Michigan's defense is horrendous but wow are they explosive on offense.
  19. QUOTE (danman31 @ Oct 2, 2010 -> 02:17 PM) I hate it when announcers call a competitive game with a close finish great just because of the finish. Northwestern-Minnesota was a terribly played game with loads of penalties and turnovers from NU. I wish announcers would comment on poor play instead of just getting excited over a good finish. Agreed. That was particularly common during the NCAA tourney this year which had a lot of close but horribly played basketball games.
