  1. QUOTE(RyGuy22 @ Oct 23, 2005 -> 11:39 PM) Do you know how to get the file to play once I have downloaded it? As long as you have a media player, Windows Media player, divx, quicktime, etc. you just would play the file through those.
  2. QUOTE(RyGuy22 @ Oct 23, 2005 -> 11:18 PM) I was just wondering if anybody has a copy of the IL/AZ Elite 8 game from this past year. I lost my copy of it and was wondering if I could buy one off of someone. I don't have a hard copy of the game. You can download the game here though Illini Torrent
  3. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Oct 23, 2005 -> 11:02 PM) Manny led all outfielders in assists this season. Because he gets run on more than any other outfielder
  4. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Oct 23, 2005 -> 10:44 PM) LOL. That is the f***ing definition of clutch. A GW homerun against one of the best closers in the game in the world f***ing series. The hit was as clutch of a hit as you will ever see. And I won't lie, I was b****ing about Pods after that throw, but I also went nuts and called my brother right after he hit the HR saying how Pods just redeemed himself completely. But one hit doesn't make a player a clutch player. I couldn't be happier he hit it though. I just see why qwerty and SSH are saying he isn't really a clutch player although that really isn't important after tonights game.
  5. QUOTE(WinninUgly @ Oct 23, 2005 -> 10:41 PM) Yeah, but that was one of the most improbable clutch hits of all time. A guy hits zero HR's all year, then hits a walk-off against one of the best relievers in the game. The HR was awesome, but that still doesn't make Pods clutch.
  6. QUOTE(Felix @ Oct 23, 2005 -> 10:17 PM) It was a nice throw.. Right on the f***ing money. Unfortunately he has zero arm strength though.
  7. I'm not watching the game, but PSU 56- Illinois 3. At Halftime :puke
  8. QUOTE(Coasterbill @ Oct 22, 2005 -> 07:30 PM) Being a Yankee fan I have seen alot of that s*** from Contreras :puke Being a Sox fan, I've seen Contreras blossom into a guy who was one of the best pitchers in baseball in the second half and a guy who has been outstanding in the playoffs.
  9. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Oct 19, 2005 -> 09:53 PM) Not so much. ^^^ What he said
  10. QUOTE(Chisoxrd5 @ Oct 17, 2005 -> 01:46 PM) True...hopefully Chester Frazier and Trent can bridge the gap for one season until Rose and Gordon decide to choose ILL...which is beginning to look like a big if with Gordon now looking at Duke and Rose being recruited by every whos who in college basketball. It is remarkable to me after watching our team last year run a guard friendly offense that had two players taken in the first round, is unable to recruit a big time guard. It is slightly concerning and dumbfounding... I am starting to really doubt Weber's recruiting. But he does have a great eye for talent. Frazier is legit and will be a very good PG for us. I should have known that as soon as the White Sox make a WS I would have to get some bad news from somewhere else. It couldn't happen any other way. Gordon has consistently said that UI is his #1 school. He was at our MM this week and loved it and last I saw he had Duke behind Illinois and Zona. I was never optimistic about Collins or Scheyer and I'm not overly optimistic about Rose but I am very optimistic about Gordon being an Illini.
  11. With four starters of this caliber you really can't go wrong. I personally think Contreras should start game 1 but if Ozzie goes another way I won't complain.
  12. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Oct 15, 2005 -> 09:52 AM) Someone else was saying this to me yesterday. We're not the 2003 Cubs, the 2004 Yanks, this is the 2005 White Sox. I know things aren't guaranteed. The regular season proved that, but this team is different. I know and with Contreras, Buehrle, and Garland going we would be in terrific shape, but I'm just reminding people not to get over confident.
  13. QUOTE(SnB @ Oct 15, 2005 -> 09:45 AM) no messing around, win tonight and we got it. just win tonight. Umm..disagree, see Cubs 2003.
  14. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Oct 12, 2005 -> 11:07 PM) Well, BBTN went back and looked at tape. Found two different times where there was a strike three swinging on a sox batter. He went arm out, fist. In the same time frame (lazily). Same thing he did in the 9th. Right, but on a third strike wouldn't you signal strike than out every time. It seems to me that every umpire does it.
