The Warriors are not going to do much this year. They don't have Arenas anymore and they traded Jamison for Van Exel. They also drafted a small forward when they have no good big men and Van Exel as their only point guard. If they win 30 I'll be surprised.

They were about to have one - Anthony Webster. Yeah maybe in 3 or 4 years if he even makes it to the show. The guy has a lot of raw ability but that doesn't mean a thing if you don't produce. Its not like he has exactly torn up the minors this year. He was hitting about .290 with no power when we traded him to the Rangers.

The reason they didn't have any room under the cap is because Garnett was making over $20 mil. He is a great player but he is no where near Tim Duncan. Duncan won the championship last year without a great supporting cast. Parker is solid but very inconsistent, Robinson was a shell of what he used to be, Mano was also pretty erratic, and Bowen can only defend.

Mark it down, Iowa finishes no better than 4th in the Big 10. No where near the level of MSU, Illinois, or Wisconsin.

I am definately ready to talk some college basketball. Only about two weeks till midnight madness. And you're wrong about U of I having less talent than in the past. They are very deep and incredibly athletic. All three freshman should contribute this year. Brian Randle will easily be one of the most athletic players in the Big Ten. He has to work on his jump shot, but at 6'8 with explosive leaping ability he should provide some quality minutes of the bench. They are young and unproven but they should be real good this year.
