True, but we're fooling ourselves if we don't think he's considering it. It's part of his job. He has to decide if this team will be able to come back and catch the Twins without their 2 best hitters.

And we were how many out when the Sox had their first white flag trade? 3 1/2 or 4 games out. They've done it in the past.

A catcher should be far down on our list of priorities. We need a lead-off guy....bullpen help..and another starter before we think about a catcher.

If you're the Sox...you have to seriously say to yourself...."can we catch the Twins without Thomas and Mags?" This seemed ridiculous a week or two ago, but this 5-skid is coming at an awful time.

The Sox could fall to 6 games out before the trade deadline. I hate this idea, but what if Reinsdorf and KW decide to unload this roster. The only positive being you could re-stack your farm system.

I was excited to bolster this team before the trading deadline, but at this point it would be a waste of prospects. Unless you're going to get a top flight lead-off man...KW should not make anymore trades. Hopefully this team will make a run late in the year, but we just threw our 2 best pitchers at the Twins and lost both games. We're in deep s*** with Mags and Thomas both out of the lineup.

Cotts needs to get more experience in the minors...not in the majors where his wildness gets him torched.

I hope Mike Jackson is released by tomorrow....there's no reason for him to be in the bullpen.

How about....NO! He never plays because he's always hurt.

They both need to go. Is there anytime you would want Cotts in the game? I never want him in there unless we're getting killed.

Jackson is a year away from what? retirement? Cotts is the same pitcher he was when he made his major league debut. Cotts was wild in the minors..and now he's wild in the majors.

They have no place in this bullpen. They've had their chances..it's time for a change. Jackson is washed up and Cotts is not a big league pitcher (unless he finds some control..he never will be).

Let's keep the attendance in the high 30s!! Sox sweep the Tigers today!

I'd like KW to find some right-handed bullpen relief. We need to replace Mike Jackson in the bullpen. Another starter wouldn't hurt either. I hope we're not done dealing, but the Sox don't seem to be mentioned as much as other teams.
