He's at the very least earned some more playing time. I like how Timo Perez can sit on the bench for several games and still come in and hit well. I think they've both earned some at-bats.

I say continute to parade minor leaguers up here until one sticks. I'd prefer not to wear down this pitching staff with a 4 man rotation.

Did they change how they start the game or introduce the players or something? I heard them talking to Brooks Boyer on ESPN 1000 about how he made some changes. I couldn't hear the whole conversation because my radio kept cutting out! Fill me in please!

They kept the homerun balls, but I don't see the point of throwing it back on the field when you could just give it to someone else and make their day.

I was also sitting left of the foul pole. At least 25-50 people were chanting throw it back and pointing towards the field after one KC homer. As people from my section(including myself) were yelling "Keep the damn ball, this isn't f-ing Wrigley!!"

We don't throw back homerun balls. Congrats to the people who held on to the KC homers. For those of you not at the game, there was a large number of people in left field trying to get people to throw the KC homeruns back onto the field. :fthecubs

I don't see how his job is safe. He's never been a very good starter(over 5.00 ERA) and he's had an awful spring as a starter. Maybe he'll pitch better when the regular season starts, but I have a feeling he's going to get rocked his first couple of starts. We have other options, I'd rather see the Sox throw a younger guy out there.

It's funny this article came out after Farmer or Rooney were ripping Uribe for his 2nd base play. They said he looks absolutely lost defensively. And if you don't know what you're doing, the manager needs to pull you for someone who does.
