Wow the Sox cleaned up for Q! This team is absolutely stacked.

As expected, Collins is out. No worries though, his slump is over and by years end hopefully he will crack the list.

Interesting to me that he was chosen to play in the futures game. Has to be solely because of his defense.

I think the point many are making is that his bat should have already been there. So from the beginning his focus should be catcher. They drafted him high because he was a MLB ready bat that just needs catching development in the minors. unfortunately the scouts were wrong. Hell I was wrong. Watching him destroy ACC pitching his entire college career maks it hard to believe this is truly what his bat is. I still believe he has a combo of bad luck, mental games, and a true good old fashion slump.

Collins did not play like this in college. I am becoming concerned. Mainly because of how often he is striking out.
