He will. Every team calls up a third catcher in September it seems.

It is unlikely Narvaez is a real starter but there's nothing to lose letting him prove what he is. He has looked professional in everything he's done. Hard to believe he hit so poorly on minors.

He can be a good backup at least.

3 games out of 4 from Seattle. Bring on Detroit. I sound like an idiot for saying this, but a very unlikely sweep against Detroit gets the Sox back in that 2nd wild card spot conversation.

Nice to see them playing well lately and that Rodon seems to have turned it around.

Hell maybe they can still finish over .500 for the year?

Depends who you are having that conversation with. ..................................

stranger things have happened. I was umpressed with the Seattle series. Actually with a bit of luck in the loss Sale took we could have won that game too

Yes, Rodon is the best news in a while.

I'd certainly play Navarez a lot; I'd pitch beck, Kahnle, Ynoa and whoever else interests them from the minors in the 7th-9th more as well; see if they have the guts for it. No reason to throw Jones out there every day.
