I hate to defend Ventura, but what other stiffs can he throw out there?..they are all really, really bad...so from that perspective I guess it doesn't matter.

Wow do we have some horrible pitchers to throw out there... just pure trash...

 

Abreu seems like he has wasted 100 easy rbi chances this year....

 

Anderson ... so many double plays... love the kid but have to find a way to avoid that.

 

Renaudo didn't pitch bad.. but you could see him fading and we had nothing else to offer.

Not me. I now blame Ventura for everything along with Cooper. A better manager could find ways around this.

 

This organization owes John Danks an apology.

Yep.

Ventura didn't sign him. He didn't sign Jacob Turner either (who in the world made that decision? He was terrible last year and the Sox paid him $1.5 million).

Especially because one thing we have learned is that Jones and Robertson aren't every day pitchers.

Would rather he was still going out there every 5th day the rest of this year than trading for Shields and watching him suck for the remainder of this year and next 2.
