Anyone got any ideas? Should we turn this into Hawks, Bulls, Blackhawks talk, sort of a Chicago off season sports board? Or we could turn this into the brawl room where people come to argue and fight?

I like the idea of a Blackhawks PTC. We could do a thing like they do on the Score where you have to pick the top 3 scorers in each Bulls game. How about a 5 team parlay where you have to pick 5 (or any other number) teams that will win that night. It could span several sports or just one sport.

I like Savvy's idea of having a multi-sport parlay.

 

I don't know if there's enough demand for a B'hawks PTC, I for one, know nothing about Hockey. But I'm very into all of the other major sports. Something that could get everyone involved would be great.

How about a Chicago sports board for the off season?

Hockey may be hard. I know nothing about hockey either. I think you could do a off-season Chicago sports and a place for people to say anything. During the season it is different, but how much can you really talk about with the Sox in December?

i think its a great idea to make this a other sports talk forum till baseball starts back up again..... we can have pick to clicks on football, basket ball, hockey, or whatever ....

PTC for Hockey is a breeze as far as scoring goes.

You can just rely on the +/- system they already use to assign pts for players.

 

I hope we can develop a +/- system for the SOX next year.

The biggest demand in the off-season will probably be Da Bears followed by ND, MI, IL, WI, OSU, MSU, & NW. The regional Big 10.

So maybe we could develop a +/- for the CFA.

 

I doubt the Bulls will get much interest.

How about YNOT for the NL Playoffs. I can't stomach the AL Playoffs.

 

How about a Football confidence contest each week. Pick winning and rank them 1-how many games are being played. You get your assigned points for a win.

 

13 Goal Hockey pool. Pick a team each week you think will win a game in which 13 goals are scored.

followed by ND, MI, IL, WI, OSU, MSU, & NW. The regional Big 10.

We may see how well you can stomach a Cubs playoff YNOT.

This will be the most impressive Cubs swoon since 1969. They got 1 more win left the Astros win 3 of 4 from the lowly Brew Crew and Sunday evening we're consoling them telling them we know how it hurts :fyou

I personally really like the idea of using this both for an off season sports board, and we could still have the contests over here. I would suggest even moving the NFL and NCAA contests over to this board, as they would be more appropriate here.

I AGREE WITH THE CHICAGO SPORTS BOARD. GO BULLS BEARS HAWKS AND ILLINI TUOMO RUTTU WILL LEAD THE HAWKS TO THE PLAYOFFS AND THE BULLS WILL MAKE THE PLAYOFFS AS A 7 SEED

3)Who will have the most ribbies?
