9/19 Sox at Royals

Rodon vs Ventura

Eaton, Anderson, Cabrera, Abreu, Morneau, Frazier, Garcia, Narvaez, Sanchez

Burns, Merrifield, Hosmer, Morales, Orlando, Gordon, Escobar, Colon, Butera

Good day for a brawl.

Hope he's just tired as Rodon's velocity way down. Given up homers on 90 and 91 mph fastballs. Like I have been saying, time to lower the pitch count for starters down the stretch

Definitely seems like Rodon's velocity fluctuates more than any Sox pitcher I can remember. If he's tired they should just shut him down.

He's a guy that is definitely below average if he doesn't have his fastball going. Amazing his velocity can vary a good 5-7 mph in his starts

You just shut these guys down, how do you expect them to be ready to go when you do need them to be good in September and hopefully October?

Yeah, Rodon needs to be on a pitch limit. 90 MPH fastball Rodon is way worse than 98 MPH fastball Rodon.

Abreu destroyed that homer

Another bad start for Rodon. Better start holding runners better. Omar 0-18 throwing guys out

Anderson with another rookie mistake in the field followed by a SB and a Hosmer hit and a wild pitch. No body out two on fir the Royals. Now a three run homer for Morales. Rodon implodes

Even worse for Rodon. Pathetic effort by him today. Very disappointing end to his season.

Rodon didn't seem to have any focus at all today.

Narvaez doesn't seem to have a good throwing arm but I thought he did get one runner recently?

it's ok, tell him to eat his wheaties and come back ready to play in ST.

Omar is in a bit over his head right now. Hopefully he can develop a bit. Right now he's a back up catcher at best with his best offensive weapon being a walk.

If you are catching Rodon, you CS numbers aren't going to be pretty.

You called it on Omar. That average plummeted with more time. He still gives solid at bats, but unfortunately has no pop at all. Doubtful he's on 25 to start next year

Reports from a scout in the minors told me his arm was a touch above average.

He hasn't shown it but then again is a major factor outlet pitchers not holding runners?

We just that with bad at bats by Garcia and Narvaez leaving the bases loaded

Omar was the 5th or 6th catcher in line this year, so the fact that he provided anything was a plus. But, moving forward, there really isn't too much to be excited about, other than the bar to be a halfway decent back up catcher these days is pretty low. The pitchers do seem to like throwing to him.

Sanchez using an aluminum bat there? Wow

Bye Robin.

5-14 season series. Stellar.

The Sox are 4-21 in the cities of Kansas City, Detroit, and Cleveland.

18-36 overall vs the three.

Bye Robin.

The talent this front office made available to Robin in a "go for it year" is even more culpable.

What's new... KC kicks the sox ass.

To be honest, KC really plays well against the central and bad against everyone else haha.

They have a losing record against Cleveland but double digit wins against everyone else.
