Charlotte Knights Third Basemen since 2006 - an anthology

Featured Replies

So first, say hello to Julie - our newest writer. She is 'DestroyBaseball' on SoxTalk. This is her first post for FutureSox.

For reasons I can't fathom, for her first article she chose to sift through the starting third baseman in Charlotte for each of the past 11 seasons and see where they went from there. But I'm glad she did, because it's kind of car-crash-fascinating, and she makes it fun.

You should give it a read here, and welcome her aboard.

That was a fun read. Some blasts from the past on that 3B list. Welcome, Julie! Nice work.

I forgot about Dallas McPherson. That name deserved to succeed.

Ahhh, good 'ole club footed CJ Retherford.

Hawk used to gush over him.

Who said White Sox can't develop position players?

Who's on Third in Charlotte in '17? Peters, Delmonico, Trey M?

I enjoyed the article, Julie.

Ah Ray Olmedo. One of the most frustrating failures to hustle on a single play I can remember.

She did right to write that with tongue planted firmly in cheek otherwise as a Sox fan you might cry.

Possibly Davidson if he isn't the starter in Chicago. Trey should be in AA again.
