I would give a lot of the money away. Keep enough for me to live comfortably on investments and interest and just pay off a ton of people's debts.

Yes - using empty retail outlets in Downers Grove to be tech incubators, shared workspaces or even just offices for new startups and small businesses.

 

Erlich Bachman would be proud.

There is a non-profit brewpup in Portland that gives away all profits to charity (which is awesome btw), you get to pick your charity when paying your tab.

 

I would probably do that, perhaps in Austin.

 

Summers here and winters there.

 

And I'd buy a boat.

Don't get me wrong, I play with the legos with my kids, but oooh weee, those things are expensive!

 

Walmart has all the LEGO stuff for 20% or more off most of the time. But yes, it is expensive.

I'd get a nice home and hire people to cook, garden, clean, etc.

 

Help my church and my parents' church do the building projects that they've been trying to do for years.

 

Find a business where I can go there as an owner, but not really have to do anything but oversee things.

 

Plan trips places and give the best things that I can to my family and friends.
