2018 and 2019 Drafts

Featured Replies

Obviously still awhile away, but I wanted to drum up some discussion. We're most likely going to have a top 5 pick in both drafts. What does everyone hope the moves are?

Are we looking for best player available? High school vs. College?

What do we all want and think?

I still want Beer because of the name and the guy can flat out hit.

But, if we have the #2 or #3 pick and there is a can't miss SS available, I'd understand if that was the pick.

Hoping for Beer as well. And from things I've read and looked at, it sounds like we don't need the top pick to get him, which is nice.

I am currently on the Turang train, but it's still very early.

Without a clear cut #1, the thought of the Sox having the pick is a scary proposition.

But I hope they get it.

Plenty of time for a clear #1 to emerge, but there is always risk with #1 overall

Always risk with #1 overall?

Eh, I only buy that with the "regret" factor as a fan. When you had a shot for everyone, it could hang over you.

But I would want #1 overall instead of #2 overall.

See mark Appel over Kris Bryant...

Eh I don't buy that, they had the opportunity though.

I'd like to see Turang also. Think we get the 1st or 2nd pick
