Holland will probably be an entertaining tv personality.

Yeah he really really sucks now. But Shields has never been good and they gave up players for him. Holland was a wild card signing and he actually had some success for a while. Thats what I was comparing to.

Never?

Holland is usually able to last only about three innings. I doubt the Sox release him at this point in the season. He can be a mop up guy till the end of the year. Covey on the other hand is the fallacy of the Rule V draft and having to keep a AA pitcher on the 25 man roster. He is completely overmatched. Holland gave up seven runs and Covey six and maybe more. Beck warming and I am not reassured

There are maybe 4 competent pitchers on this roster. Quite impressive

Reds and Giants are cementing that 2nd pick too.

Reds are up but Giants are down... Padres are up though.

Never?

Yeah I'm pretty sure he was like the 1st or 2nf starter in that Rays rotation

We get a break with an Abreu triple and then great outfield defense takes us out of it, but one run scored

This is embarrassing.

Damn

Anderson's defense sucks.

Anderson since he signed deal has got a little too comfortable.

25th error on the season. That's bad. Like, ungodly awful.

Nice t see that Avi is still over .300. Who waitin fr the wheels t come off?

So I watched the first 2 innings and Perez was at like 30 pitches in the 1st. How the hell has he lasted to the 6th with only 89 pitches??

Pretty sure his range is considered awful also

I'm asking myself why I'm still watching.

You know I might just be speaking out of emotion here, but I don't think Anderson belongs on a major league roster, let alone a starter. As a hitter, he has some pop but no patience, and it seems like he doesn't have a plan going up to the plate. It's the same with every pitcher. He also has hardly any pitch recognition. He just went on a hot streak, which was nice, but it seems like it's over. His defense, we've all seen it. He's not a shortstop. Maybe a second baseman.

The scout that thought he would be a good fit for the Sox must have been same one who recommended Shields

exactly.

Holland is even worse than Shields.

Holland has nothing left to offer.

He needs to fake an injury and finish the season on the DL.

Has at the very least one more season to prove what he can do, and likely gets another year after that no matter what. He's shown a disturbing lack of improvement this year, which isn't shocking in this organization

Yeah the regression is not surprising considering...he was one of "those" draftees...wonder if there is a good shortstop the Sox can sign in the first round next summer.

How long is Anderson's contract for?

These pitchers...thats what happens when you trade everyone away I guess.

They better win 100 games in 3 years after making us go through this s*** lol.

Modern day Mercy Rule-

Play 3 hours, finish the inning, call it if the losing team wants to.

Is this umpire a Rangers fan? I mean that's obviously foul.........

That was odd. Wasn't even close.
