The articles keep saying "assisting a tactical team", but I cant seem to find why a tactical team was in the middle of the loop.

 

Also nobody is reporting that it was fatal yet, so your cousin has inside information.

Yeah, he texted me the alert he received. One in custody.

Take it for what it’s worth, I work across the street at another state building and one of our security guards told me that the officer, who was off duty, saw drug dealing going in a stairwell outside the building, confronted the men and was shot point blank multiple times in the head.

I don't think the commander started it. I think he just heard on radio from another team that was going to do a street stop and cornered them on run. Was off duty.
