  • Do what I did and tell your kids that the Cubs don't like legos and Toy Story. That will make them Sox fans quickly

  • Tell them the Cubs will steal their chicken nuggets as well.

That would be a dealbreaker for me. If it’s in Wrigley, he needs to be in Sox swag. Compromise.

I really hate Baez.

Stone keeps confusing the Cubs with the Sox.

I disagree

Stone saying his defense is better at SS than Russell is just dumb

Davidson has learned to make contact on the high pitch, which he's never been able to lay off of. And his ability to draw a walk is basically his saving grace, because last year he was showing Anderson-esque patience at the plate (though Timmy is no Timmy of old either this year). Davidson can afford to hit less good than he has as long as he continues to draw walks so well.

He doesn’t seem too interested at the moment lol.  But he will be if the Sox do something awesome.  We unfortunately missed the Davidson HR earlier.

Wow.. that was seriously your shot. Kids are only second to chicks in digging the long ball.

He's a guy that passes the eye test in that he's athletic looking, has a swing that looks powerful, but he just isn't hitting. His defense has been a pleasant surprise, but that's because it has been adequate when we feared it would be very bad. I'm not sure when we'll pull the plug but in retrospect his hot start last year seems based on equal parts luck and a lack of scouting by opponents.

I know, had some Mother’s Day plans that went long.  Unfortunately radio calls just don’t resonate with kids nowadays ?

Problem is he's a zero tool player. Good guy, great story....not a big league left fielder

The guy in the bleachers with the Cubs plus Notre Dame banner might be the worst human being in the world.

His defense has been awful

Please feel free to replace Cooper. He's still living off 2005 and Sale.

I would say Coop is the one coach who has distinguished himself. He may be a grumpy old snitch but he has done some good work. If they wanted to get rid of him they could just make him manager. We have more pressing needs in my view.

He has pretty good plate discipline.  If the OF defense improves a bit and he recovers some of his power he can be an effective corner reserve.

He's back to not coming close to throwing strikes. Get someone loose

lol so very true

Cubs had 6 SB all year before today.

This is ridiculous. He's missing the zone by more than a foot. He desperately needs to go down to Charlotte and work on his mechanics.

See ya Lucas, what a horrible season for him

Shocked the Cubs didn't score 2 runs there.
