At this point you may need to pitch around this guy.

Fielders shouldn't be allowed to block the base prior to the slide. Not sure how Anderson was supposed to slide there.

Smith swings a magic wand. Also Frank has been superb 

Thomas has gotten SO much better on the air. When he first started he was brutal.  He could actually do this full time now, if he wanted.

 

Shields has had another respectable outing.

Please let this be the last game we ever have to suffer with this exact trio in the outfield.  Engel looks like he forgot how to hit once again.

Tigers were able to do what the Sox  couldn’t do... bring in a runner in scoring position with two out

Maybe he never knew how to hit and the last month was an anomaly

Everytime i look up and see runners on base for the Sox, its either Engel or Trayce up to bat

Probably see Avi back up in a week. I am sure Trayce sits. How long can you accept a BA of .120 or less?
