I know this is a game thread but if the Padres ruin their rebuild like this...

If any team could pull this move off and not ruin their rebuild it’s the Padres.  Their system is completely bonkers.  I still don’t think know is the right time for them to do something this, but adding Hosmer also made very little sense.

    Throw strikes

  • Why do you want to trade Soria?  Why not try to build the team around him?

96 on the paint to Trout got him looking. Damn Carlos

Rodominant

Jason is right, watching Carlos has been a much needed pleasure tonight.  His performance is letting you dream a little on what might be.

Rodon looks like he is on cruise control.  When I was at the St. Louis game a few weeks he looked very much in control like today, but not as dominate.  When he pitches like this he makes pitching look easy.

Example job drawing the walk there Yoan!

A 1-2 of Madrigal & Moncada is going to be a real problem for opposing pitchers in a few years.

Edited by Chicago White Sox

Moncada has been a walk god this month

i'm liking moncada lately.

Yoan thought that the ball outside was going to be strike 3 when the count was 2-2...he hesitated.

well he's covering an extra inch at any given time so who can blame him

Probably just nervous after all the terrible calls that have gone against him this year.

Oh I definitely don't blame him.  I am impressed that he still has the patience to continue to use his ability to know the strike zone.

hanging breaking ball and you gotta hammer that...

As Hawk would say...he missed the cookie.

Was that John C Reilly they just showed? He is a pretty big Sox fan and probably lives in LA.

jose 3 years ago would have roped that down the line.

lol is rodon channeling david wells?

I gotta give the Sox massive credit with how they handled Rodon's injury.

This is fun to watch

the deer are going to have a rough winter at this rate around rodon's property.  dude is dialed in.

we need to inject the entire team with whatever omar is on.
