Metrics can't sugarcoat the regressive mediocrity of our first wave of MLB saviors. Never mind the people developing this talent. My further suspicion is that lack of rest for position players is a factor.

    God I'll miss Hawk

  • It seems a little unfair to criticize Benetti, in this context. He is not an ex player. He has has his own strengths, as well. He has a good voice, is a pretty well rounded and intelligent young man.

And that's where the coaching staff, that's supposed to be here to help the young guys develop, need to be held accountable.

Wow... Whatever....

Yoan is so freaking broken

Jason is a boring top-sheeter. He feigns interest in the game while feeding lame cues to his sidekick. You don't have to be a player to have insights inspired by your interest in the game. Raising your voice for ball four hardly qualifies. At least Hawk shares a genuine interest in the game and it's people.

In all of the talk about Hawk's partners in the booth today, he hasn't once mentioned Stone. He even went out of his way to praise Benetti.

I wish they’d let Fry try to start next year. He’s got the demeanor.

Filthy stuff by Jace

Lol Fry could not have been more confident on that last pitch, wow

The list of starters with over 50 MLB starts after two Tommy John’s can be counted on fingers and not hands...

Coaches are paid to intervene when they see a guy getting off track and prevent bad habits from setting in. They are supposed to have the expertise to correct these situations and turn them around. Not every team has such coaches.
