9/24- Indians vs Sox, 7:10

Kluber going for his 20th win

Moncada at 210. The record is 223.

I'm going to this game!

...

Go Indians!

sitting Moncada to avoid the record seems dumb since he's extremely unlikely to get 13ks in 7 games.

Madrigal will be there tonight. Hopefully he’s in the booth for an inning.

No need to get greedy and hold all of the strikeout records.  He broke the record for most K's by a switch hitter a few weeks ago (the AL record was 177 and MLB record was 189).

The fact that the Sox are starting Cordell of the .091 batting average is further proof that they are purposely trying to lose to secure superior draft position.

I really like Dylan's stuff. It's a shame that he isn't more consistent.

Man I long for the seasons where we can be excited about September/October baseball again. Playing the Indians and Cubs, 2 teams with a good chance to make it to the Series, over a span of a few weeks doesn't help any...

Strike 2 to Avi was in the other batters box.

Yeah, getting sick of these umpires and their personal strikezones.

Wow. No idea how Omar stayed on 3rd.

Palka's not much of a base runner.

Who threw harder, him or Sister Jo?

Was this really necessary ?

Weird gameday has all 1st 3 pitches to Rosales in the strike zone and all 3 called balls. Pitch 1 clearly a strike the other 2 on the edge.

No one hates Sox players more than Sox fans.

Considering the 7 k and only 1 walk that's not too bad though. Kluber I assume getting calls ? I saw the one post about a strike being called that was in the other batters box on Avi.

The Indians lineup tonight is bad though. Hardly any of their good players.

Ball 2 to Alonso clearly a strike. This ump sucks on curve balls.

That is back to back outstanding outings for Covey against Cleveland.

The Indians have 4 starters who each have 200 strikeouts for the season.  Just what the doctor ordered:  the White Sox lead the majors in strikeouts (and by a goodly margin over the next worst whiffers).

Nice job Covey .I hope that's it for him. Starting to get some pitches up along with pitch count at 93 I'd take him out before someone hits one out.

He did good but this lineup isn't too fierce that Cleveland threw out there today. But good is good considering they are all ML hitters.
