October 21, 20187 yr Saw a tweet this afternoon from Jon Heyman where he said Girardi pulled out of the Reds job Friday. They wanted to offer it to him but it never got to the point where money was discussed. Industry speculation, Heyman wrote, is that Girardi is waiting on the Cubs job to open next year.
