December 1, 20187 yr I don't really understand why some players like Leury are beloved and others (Avi, Davidson, Palka, Abreu) bring out the anger in (many) fans. To me, Leury being on the team draws a reax of "really?"

To me, Leury being on the team draws a reax of "really?" Leury is a failed prospect who carved out a niche, plays a ton of positions, is pretty productive and he's cheap. He's fun to watch because he's fast and he's a good fielder. He's easy to root for. Context is important.
