needs to find his off speed stuff or they are going to hammer him.

Fastball velocity is better, but not a lot of snap on his offspeed stuff.  Hope his location improves.

Lopez seems horrible with two strikes.  Not only does he struggle to wipe people out, but it seems like he frequently gives up hits.

bad combo of poor command and lack of reliable off speed.

I think Eloy's defense has more potential than what we've gotten from him so far. The Statcast data suggests his speed isn't (yet) a major limiting factor and he looks fairly comfortable tracking the ball much of the time. I think he needs some more motor and some more experience around the wall, playing the ricochet, things like that.

maybe, hopefully.  I've always believed you can't teach a major leaguer how to track a fly ball.  if you haven't figured it out by the bigs you're just not a natural OF.  that said, he can certainly improve once he learns the nuances of the AL central parks.

Tigers broadcast is nice.  Lots of praise for the young Sox.

what a take from TA.

Pretty much.  Just crazy because he’s constantly had guys down 0-2 or 1-2 today and isn’t generating a ton of K’s.

jesus this guy's wrists could snap the neck of a lion.

Awesome at bat for Timmy

helluva an AB TA!

Great AB Tim! Make it a double!

Superb at bat by Tim. Timmy walks are my favorite.

Just out put my kid down for a nap, but did I miss a 10 pitch at-bat from Tim that ended in a walk???

Edited by Chicago White Sox

If Abreu would stop swinging at balls he would have been walked again

You did. Think he got down 0-2 and battled back, as well.

Also wonder if he needs to be closer to the plate. If the pitch is on the outer half, he’s having a hard time covering it.

You are correct, no matter how bad they do, they never change, that is why they are who they are, how frustrating.

Woohoo the other team fucking up defense!

Slow bat for Abreu

That’s awesome.

They did, but Tim also did exactly what they should all do in that situation. I hate seeing runners drag it out by playing that into a pickle. That's doomed.

Who steals third base standing up?!?!?

in that scenario?  2019 Paul Konerko.

didn't see that coming, huh.  Norris must have some deception in his delivery.
