I like him a lot. He doesn't have much pop, but he puts the bat on the ball, can steal a base, and plays pretty good defense at all the outfield positions.

But we really need to turn Colome into a starting position player for the next 5-7 years.  1 more year of a great closer or a power hitting outfielder that we can pencil in for 5-7 years?  The Sox churn out closers.  This is an easy decision.
