well Moncada with a bad swing.. but Anderson is brutal at how many bad balls he swings at - dude won't bat .300 in any season doing that.

and whenever they want to DFA Alonso so Palka or Collins can get at bats in a season they're clearly not contending, that would be nice.  Last thing we need is going into next year missing out on free agent targets and saying "let's see what Palka can do after hitting 35 homers in AAA", etc.

Something interesting about Palka is that his k to walk is much much better this season.

Just came across this, as it was very prominent tonight.  It appears the Sox are tied for 2nd worst in all of baseball in terms of positioning.  Just once, it would nice to see the Sox not be at or near the bottom of these analytical assessments of organizations.

It is a system wide malaise. And it starts at the very top. And Fry has been absolutely brutal this season, just brutal.
