"Super Nova" is about the only good name out of these awful players weekend jerseys.

I think man of steal is really creative. Dude steals bases on the basebaths and robs hit/homeruns in the outfield.

  • Lol Ricky goes on a rant about how he trusts his gut then immediately starts taking everyone’s advice in lineup making. I’m not complaining, maybe the front office addressed it with him.

It's almost like, he is really bad a constructing a lineup.

  • Just turned the game on. The Rangers are dressed like house painters.

Give the Sox lineup kudos and credits for at least keeping this game close which is really all you can ask. Doc Steverson gets a participation certificate of authority.

Timmy thought he got that one. I honestly thought he did too. That ball just died.

Damn Nova has some legit movement.

The Sox lineup might be mediocre at best, but they absolutely lit up Lynn last night, these kind of games just happen.

Can't blame Abreu's defense on that play lol.

That was one of the most inaccurate throws I’ve seen this year

Black is slimming but Nova looks awfully pregnant tonight

Bad d all around there....

Bad decision by McCann there. I expect that from a young catcher not a veteran.

That throw actually wasn’t that bad, Tim has to get to the bag.

still, he probably should have hung on to it.

Always loved Calhoun.  This whole “having a DH that can hit” seems like an interesting strategy.

Timmy played that awful. If you can’t get to the bag, just stay back and knock it down

I don’t think his bat plays as a DH which he pretty much is. Weren’t the Dodgers trying him at 2b?

Nicky S can really hit.

Timmy definitely ole'd that. But McCann had no business even attempting to throw that. It was off a pitch in the dirt at that.

Didn't matter though as Calhoun went yard.

Is it too late to trade for Calhoun?

His bat is plenty good enough to be a DH

I never loved Calhoun as a prospect, I don’t think he will be an .800+ OPS bat long term, but maybe it‘s just my bias against him. IIRC he was brought up a lot in past trade proposals here and I never liked him

Jimmy Cordero with an idea where his pitches are going is a pretty interesting arm with long term control

Said it before but I honestly hope the Sox give him a look at closer next season. I think he would be very good there (and later down the line could potentially trade him for assets if need be).

I hate these god damn uniforms.  I was wondering why Tim didn't make an attempt at that ground ball then I realized Tim was the umpire.

I think we jinxed him

Still hasn't changed my mind. :D

Santana is a walking advertisement for everything that is wrong with the baseball
