Fried ties his career high in strikeouts with 11 against the Sox.  A lot of guys seem to do that against the Sox lineup.

He is pulling off everything from both sides.

Ricky may not believe in analytics, but he better believe that this team must cut down on the Strikeouts next year.  The Sox have to lead the majors in striking out?  The inability  to put the ball in play is absolutely killing this offense.

Only 5th most K's in MLB.  We do lead all of MLB with the fewest walks, however.  

Pittsburgh and Colorado are playing each other in a 4 game set. Sox can probably catch either team depending on how that goes.
