  • You just knew Ricky would do his lefty-righty bs. Delmonico hitting 4th. Before someone says "spring training", you know this is going to happen in the regular season.

The Real Steve Cishek in now.

  • Grandal will bat 4th

Eloy gets jammed on a good inside fastball and goes out to right on a lazy fly ball.

The Real Steve Cishek in now.

Popout to shallow right.  Luis Gonzalez and his 15" glove make the play.  That's a rock scooper he's got there.

Cishek looks pretty sharp got his breaking ball working.

nasty breaking ball sits him down, 2 down.

Wouldnt mind seeing Bummer/Cishek be our closer/setup..

Padres look like they have a child behind the plate

They werent kidding when they said TA would be VERY busy during Keuchels starts.

Keuchel is going to keep alot of our IFs busy this season. That's why I was skeptical of Tim and Abreu but so far Tim looks to be putting thise doubts to bed (Abreu will always be a problem however but eh.. try and love with it).

9 groundout in 4 IP, sheesh.

Timmy's going to get a lot of action out there. Leury made a great play on the barehand chopper, but I'm also relieved to know we have a potentially-GG caliber 2B waiting in the wings.

Tough day at the office for Robert.  0-3.

McCann gives it a ride but not deep enough.  2 down.

Gonzales picks up the Sox 4th hit of the day with a grounder past 2B.

Diving catch by Engel takes away a hit.

Yermin infield single!  2 on 2 out.

Wow he can do it all! Trade Grandal & McCann!

Brugman grounds out to end the 8th.

Sacks packed with Sox, Nobody out, bottom 9.

Cuthbert Ks.  Bad AB.

Mendick really struggling this spring

Cuthbert has been terrible with the bat and with the glove this spring. I would think Romine and Mercedes are clearly ahead of him for the 26th man.

Damns.  Mendick grounder off the mound does for a double play.  Sox lose 3-1.

Sox left 10 on base.

Yikes. Bad day for the bats.

Padres are now 8-1 on the spring

Here's the play TA made look ridiculously easy.
