Rosters have to shrink on Thursday so who knows.

If it's a brief IL stint (should he even need one), I'd be fine with a Collins/McCann mix. Would help to make sure Grandal gets more reps at the plate (as DH/1B), too

You thinking IL stint?

I'm thinking ice and "tylenol" -- aka cortisone shot.

No. That is one of the most stable joints in the body. It's the only bony attachment of the entire shoulder girdle to the body. If he injured it badly he couldn't lift his arm.

They won't do cortisone injections as it too close to the jugular and throat. A little mobilization and NSAIDs and he'll be fine in a few days.
