Would be so 2020 for my lifelong fantasy of a Sox/Cubs World Series to be fulfilled -- and not be able to go to a game.

Or worse to have a big outbreak and it never actually gets played.

Basically, the Sox have to beat out 2 of 3 of Baltimore, Toronto, and Texas. If they can’t do that, they don’t deserve the playoffs anyways.

Not to mention Baltimore and Toronto have each other to beat up on, plus games against the Yankees and Rays. Texas has the As and Astros and the Dodgers, Rockies, Padres, and Dbacks.

I almost wrote that but decided it was better not to even release that energy out into the world.  Thanks a lot ?

Best part about day games: Get to watch the White Sox at work

Worst part about day games: Don't get to watch the White Sox after work

love this

Ooops.  My apologies, I retract said comment.

No kidding had to rush the students through a practical exam to get to the game on time. The 30 minute time limits gradually made their way to 25.

Correct.

Great win. Eloy. Abreu. Giolito. McCann, etc. Of course Tim. ... And Jose, Mr. RBI. ... Can we finally all agree Jose Abreu is a stud and deserves any money the White Sox are paying him? It's not our money and the man brings it to the ballpark every day. He's passing all tests, including the eye test AGAIN.

Great win. I like a 4-game sweep. That's almost impossible if you look at past Sox results in four-game series. Ricky might be our manager a long time if he keeps this up.

I'd say we've learned two things so far this season thus shouldn't stress about these things in gamethreads: Just take a deep breath and realize a.) this team is going to hit even if it is not hitting at a particular time in a game and b.) Abreu is a very very good ballplayer and doesn't deserve scorn and c.) RR may make some boneheaded decisions but his ability to communicate with the Spanish speaking ballplayers is important. GO SOX.
